Climate action through sport: A novel methodology in the face of dread, dredging and displacement

In April 2024, I was privileged to assist some of my Loughborough University colleagues in enacting a novel participatory research methodology with young people in Bangladesh at risk of climate-related displacement. We conducted two workshops, one in the capital of Dhaka, and one in the northern district of Kurigram. This research is part of a larger series of work, so the results are still forthcoming. I wrote a summary about my own takeaways, which still resonated with me months later.
